Start menu moving under the taskbar

The start menu was working just fine in its normal place, I changed the top portion of the menu to 150 pixels instead of the original 9px image to make room for a visual I plan to put there, and it went as planned except the menu's on the right went up into the empty space (the circled part in the screenshot below), so I thought I'd try setting height to the part to 150 and when I loaded it the menu fixed itself but the whole menu suddenly moved below my taskbar.  I tried putting the number back to 0 and re-applying the theme but it didn't change back and the right menu went back to going into the transparent portion >.>.

I'm guessing this is common since this is the second time it happened, I didn't know what it was that did it last time though.  I tried searching for the answer but maybe I just pick bad keywords.  Any help would be appreciated, I just want to move the menu back to its original position.

Thats an odd one, try deleting the wb4 and wb64 files in the skin directory and reapply.. worst case.. start from scratch.. we've all been there.. many times.

No luck, thanks for the idea though.  After playing around with it I did mananage to get it back up by re-applying the old top image which I convienently made a copy of and forcing the size of the part to the dimensions of the picture (417x9); however, I am unable to change the image and/or those values without it doing that same thing again.  I'll keep working with it though, thanks for your help.. I am trying to resize the start menu and I must be going about it the wrong way, if anyone might be able to help.
