Where's the updates at?

So I tried to update to the new beta, and it failed to install. I decided I wanted to try the beta, and thought there might be a problem with my installation, which was installed from a back up (I reinstalled my OS yesterday, and thought maybe some of the files on the backup were corrupt). So anyway I installed from disk, and tried to update, unfortunately, the previous updates aren't availabe. I need to update manually to a current version prior to getting the current beta update. I guess Impulse doesn't detect which version you have installed and look for the appropriate updates...So anyway, I need the URL of the game downloads, and I'd like it, if stardock made it possible for older updates to be made available via impulse...so I don't have to go through this. I bought a boxed copy for a reason (so I can reinstall from that if I need to). The extra step of hunting down the downloads you need sort of sucks. Not a real biggie though.

also...why not put the updates on the download page of the demigod site? That would certainly be easy to find.
