Windowblinds skins windows... it doesn't upload or download

do you mean how to get windowblinds to use a zip?

windowblinds format is not .zip it's .wba =- if you downloaded a .zip from the windowblinds gallery, right click on it and explore - see if a .wba is inside with other items (like a wallpaper) - if so, unzip the file, then double click the wba and it will self install

If you've gotten that far you've probably had the zip file opened up at some point.  From there you can probably just drag any or all of the included files over to whatever directory you like by opening that directory up in Windows Explorer and just dragging the files over to it.

If you've been saving the zip files, you should be seeing a "Save As" window pop up (at least on XP).  The directory will show towards the top of the window beside "Save In".  If you don't recognize it, click on the down arrow to the right of the "Save In" box and see where the directory is, that's where they've been going.  You can also pick a different directory there.

No need to change the extension and it will probably not work.

If you click on the zip file and all you see are files then you can...right click the zip file and rename it .wba...click ok...then you can left click the .wba file and it will self install. That is assuming you downloaded the file from the WindowBlinds library. But by the looks of what you said with it having .jpg images you should just have to right click and unzip it.

don't rename it = you got choices

- just right click on the .zip and extract all to your desktop - find the size you want to keep and put it in the

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds\Wallpapers folder (for xp)

- drag out the size you want while in exploring and put it in the above folder

when i download should i download as zip or save as zip.

save to where you want as a .zip

where does it extraxt to because it doesnt auto install.

no, wallpaper don't auto install

you have choices

- create a folder somewhere to keep the wallpapers you download - so you can find them to apply them when you want

- put them in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds\Wallpapers folder (for xp) so you can apply them using the wallpaper function in Windowblinds
