I was just going through my add remove programs untility and I saw two programs on there, Objectdock which is 22.1 MB. Then I saw Stardock Impulse which was a HUGE 6.25 GB. What is this huge thing and do I need it? I also have fences installed.
22.1 MB I can see for OD but...6.25 GB for Impulse? That can't be right. Is it??
Size on the disk? 18.1 Megabytes (impulse).
OD+ size? 30.6 megabytes (size on disk)
Yeah, my OD is 22.1 MB and the stardock Impulse is 6.25 GB. It's crazy. I think I'm going to remove it and see what happens
I removed the stardock impules. Everything still seems to be working fine. But it sure didn't free up 6.25 GB of space. That must have been some kind of mistake on the part of the software or the computer or something
The only thing uninstalling it does is prevent you from uninstalling anything associated with it.. I uninstalled it because my Control Panel said it was 6 GB as well. I wanted to uninstall OD, and was sent here to reinstall Impulse. It now shows up as 20.1 MB though, so I suggest uninstalling/reinstalling it.
