Hi all,
i have a problem with my game,
i'm french and when i installed my game, i choose french language.
But after the last update (1 may 2009),
my game change language to english.
how i can change language? i try to found but not

mon français n'est pas encore parfait mais je pense que je peux aider ^^
c'est pas une bonne solution, mais dans ton dossier de jeux, cherche pour le dossier "loc", et va au "FR". On devrait voir un ficher s'appellé "strings_db.lua". Copie-colle le fichier au dossier "US" (ou GB ou quoique le fichier d'anglais soit). Le jeux va penser qu'il démarrer les strings anglais quand c'est vraiment les strings français.
je peux faire ça moi-même parce que ma version E-U de jeux ont seulement le fichier pour E-U anglais, mais bonne chance! lol

your french are not bad,
so i try it but when i open my folder " FR " in loc, i see that i don't have
strings file 
, but i have in US Folder
i go to re-install the game and if i have a little luck

after un install the game but when i try to install this
but when i want to choose the language, i can just choose english or russian
so now i understand why my games changes languages

It appears that the beta update may not include the localizations. If so, you will need to revert to the non-beta update (turn off the show beta versions option, right click Demigod and verify it, then get the update it shows; failing that, remove and reinstall) or wait for the next one.

Pour moi ca marchait jusque hier, j'ai fait la MAJ sur impulse et je n'ai que 3 répertoires dans mon dossier "loc" et j'ai plus de 'FR'
-> It was working until yesterday, I make an update on impulse this morning and just have 3 folders (RU / STAR / US) in my loc folder.

French language disapeared (empty folder) texts are in english, no voices ...
Will try to reinstall, but not right now ...

So well, maybe the retail version and it's updates will have other localizations, but maybe they are all skipped.
There are dutch and german translations on this forum. Maybe it's time to also have threads for the other localizations...
Kind of workaround : Click on "Verify Installation" in Impulse. After a while, it will ask you to download a 118Mo update. Do this and you'll get the english voices back in game. No way to get the french localization back though. Maybe reinstall ? To be tested.
That's a pity because, imho, french voices are better than english ones (and I'm fluent both in french and english)
Just English and Russian available. All other languages are deactivated and not installable. Just menu language can be change over .lua files
