Hello,

I purchased one copy of this game for myself and love it so much that I want to buy my stepson a copy so that we can play together when I get my 50% off coupon. My only concern is whether this game will run on his system or not. Specs below:

 

AMD Sempron 3000 single core (1.8ghz)

2 Gigs DDR 667

Nvidia 7900GS running @ 1440 x 900

Windows XP SP3

 

Do you guys think his system can handle this game at low settings?

thats hard to say

my laptop has better stats than that and it gets really choppy towards the end of most battles whent heres like 100 units movin around

laptop is Dual core 1.8, 4 gigs ram, 8600M videocard

I understand the min system requirements listed on the box, however, a 3.0ghz Pentium 4 is NOT the same as a 3.0ghz C2D. The sempron is listed with a rating of 3000 but it's really only a 1.8ghz processor. With that said, I just wanted to know if anyone is running this game with similar specs that I listed or even less?

any single-core CPU will choke on this game; upgrade to a dual-core and then you'll be much better off.

Tested it on a second system with a P4 3GHz w/2G RAM, Audigy 2, 7900GS @ 1280 x 1024 and XP SP3.  Had to turn everything down to Low for it to play decently.  It looked really ugly and don't know how they can claim those specs.  I would consider this system the minimum if you really had to play this buggy game.
