Playing LAN with 1 legit copy...

How will it work with impulse patching and such?

Hello all,

I just received my boxed version of the game and would like to install it on my mate's PC for LAN gaming (with the manual's blessing!). The only apparent problem that I foresee, however, is the fact that my demigod has been patched through Impulse several times, and the game coming off of the disk onto his computer is v1.0.

If somebody could please provide some helpful tips towards getting him updated to the same version as I, it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know if there is a way to avoid re-downloading the entire game, as I have the disk right here in my hands and that would be much faster? (My internet connection is quite lame)

Install from disk, log into your Impulse account, and patch it :)
