Unable to Register (download version)

Hey there

Earlier today I purchased Demigod online.  All went well - Purchased confirmed.

I was a bit disappointed when i realised I had to install Impulse (not having heard of it before) but i was really looking forward to trying the game out so went ahead with the link sent in my confirmation email.  Impulse seems to work fine from what i can see

However Demigod isnt.  Money gone from my account and the game shows up in My Games (impulse).  I got to register the game before i download it but hey guess what - the registration key they sent me doesnt work.  I have read in the forums about all the trouble with retail versions and registration keys but I don't understand why a key sent directly to me wouldnt work.

 

I have raised a ticket (14 hours ago now) but no response apart from the standard automated blurb.  Ive wasted a whole day off work sitting around waiting for a reply so i can actually DOWNLOAD the game i paid for.

Wondering if anyone can help me here. maybe im missing something obvious.  Anyone else had the same problem?

(I just copy/pasted the reg key - it verifies the game as demigod but then gives me the ref 204 error)

It's already registered. Buying online automatically registers it to you. If it's under "My Games", you can download it because the tab only shows games that you have registered.

Ah sorry i seem to have described the situation wrong.

 

If i open up impulse - in My Software - it shows Mycolors and ObjectDock available to download.

There is a Register Product button.  When i click this up comes the little box..a little box that has been teasing me all day wanting the serial number (sent to me in an email). I copy paste this into the relevant field along with my email address.  Tab and it recognises that the game should be Demigod but alas - errror ref 204!

 

So it wont actually register the game much less let me actually download it. argh.

Is this true? Does the game show up in My Games? If it does, then you don't need to click Register Product. Just select Demigod, and in the bottom right there's going to be an Install button (or if you right click Demigod).

Yes sorry, the part about in actually showing in My Games was inaccurate. It was as my second post described it.

However someone has finally responded to my ticket and the problem is my own fault. After staying up all night reading about Demigod then deciding to buy, my stupid tired brain spelt my email address wrong when making the purchase.

 

Hopefully now it can be sorted. Maybe I should get some sleep while it downloads.
