Question about Digital Download

So, one of my roommates is interested in buying Demigod. I'm just wondering, if he buys the digital download version will he receive his account-creation code right away? I have a copy of the disc, so no need waiting on the download.

If you're buying through Impulse, I'd create an Impulse account first. Then buy with that. It should activate pretty much immediately.
