Problems playing the game

Hey,

I've got my copy of demigod today and I've got a major problem playing it fluently.

System:

Windows XP-64
4 GB Memory
1024 Geforce 9500 GT
2,5 Intel CoreDuo

I can't really play it, because even on the lowest possible resolution it lag's?! (sorry i'm from germany no clue how u call it the right way, it's not a connection issue...)
Got the newest nvidia drivers for my GPU anyway...

need some info's and tips. thanks

if you havent , try rebooting the comp , i needed to put all setting on low , then reset comp for the lag to dissapear

well actually I did reboot the comp and tried both, high and low detail, it kind of doesn't change anything really... but thanks, some other suggestions?

 

edit: it's the sound issue too... thanks anyway :(
