Crashing problem with SLI?

So I'm trying to play this game; I have the whole "choppy gameplay", and I'm running only one of my video cards because I just updated the driver. So today I activated the SLI, and started playing. Within a few minutes, maybe, 6, the screen goes gray and I have to cnrl + alt + del to get out. My handy task bar tells me that the nVidia drivers had a problem and were rebooted sucessfully. I am not amused.

Try turning your sound fidelity to Low, or use /nosound. Let us know what happens.

I have the same problem. I have two GeForce 8800 GT cards. I updated my drivers two weeks ago. Screen goes a pretty light blue after about 10 minutes of gameplay.

Still happens after I disable SLI. So SLI is not the problem (for me anyways).

I also have a dual core processor, so I tried turning one of those off. That didnt fix anything either.

I also tried setting the sound fidelity to low, as sugested. That didnt fix it.

Well, I'm colorblind, so light blue / gray look pretty similar to me :P

Turned sound fidelity down, still no fix :(

I think I found the problem. Cards were overheating. I cleaned out all the fans and left my computer off to cool down. Seems to work now. No more crashes :)

Meow, try cleaning out your PC, also, a bout of nostalgia just hit me, what kind of power supply are you using?

I'm running two 8800mGTXs in SLI on my laptop and it works fine. Not trying to be unhelpful, just saying SLI is working fine here so it's probably not a general SLI issue.
