Bandwidth Requirement?
Anybody know the general numbers on how much upstream / downstream is needed to play a 5v5 + have vent running? I have a clanmate with pretty weak broadband, so with peer to peer it may bottleneck him.
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

5MB is more than enough d00d.
But to be safe, 15+ (for pr0nz etc.)
i was running 1.5mb when the game came out and ran fine i upgraded to 5mb conn and nothing has changed not even my ping ![]()
Ping will not change with bandwith, ping is more a measure of distance/infrastructure than connection speed (and subsequently a pretty poor measure of performance).
Any stable broadband connection would be fine, 512kbps up/down would work no problems. 256k might even be good.
256K is a no-go, thats what he has right now. Problem is since its P2P the upload bottlenecks and he lags out in anything bigger than a 2v2.
Yesterday i was registering uploads of upto 20KB/s, today its barely gone over 10, with the average being 7-8 (3v3 game, yet to try a 4v4). Even a 128K line will -just- about cover it.
A 3on3 takes about 15kb/s. A little less I would say, because I was monitoring the whole traffic of my computer.
