Dual Monitor Support

Is it possible like in SupCom? (With the game utilizing both monitors?)

Hey guys,

Does this game support dual monitor support like SupCom did? I read that they are based on the same engine, so it's not unreasonable for me to be hopeful about it. Google searching didn't turn anything up other than people running it but not using the other monitor (which is disheartening...).

Cheers,

No, in fact having a dual monitor doesn't help very much, because you can't scroll to the direction of your other monitor without it slipping to the other monitor, but this presents no problem as I used WASDQE for camera manipulations.

Well, that's a real bummer. I greatly enjoyed that feature in SupCom. Thanks very much, I'll just have to deal without.

Cheers!

I found this little app very useful for preventing the mouse going off screen when you scroll:

This problem exists in this game even when it's not using the 2nd monitor for anything, which is why I ended up switching to WASD :P.

As much as having the 2nd monitor would be a nice thing to see, I don't see much use for it, maybe as a minimap? Honestly I turned the option on in SupCom and eventually ended up turning it off because I found it drained too many resources and wasn't that useful overall.

Why stop at 2 monitors?

He is clearly using external apps to handle edge tracking. Doesn't go into much detail about the setup other than the cards though.

Over.  Goddamned.  Kill.

I have a dual monitor setup, but that's rather irrelevant to this thread since I always use WASD to move the view. It's definitely the better way to do it since it allows you to position your movement or targetting cursor more quickly.

I'm a firm believer in WASD, as well, so that's not much of a problem for me. Perhaps I'll try to stretch my desktop across both monitors and play that way. Hadn't thought about doing that (as it doesn't work well for most games).

I use 'cursorlock' to keep the mouse on the demigod screen. Great little program.

I do wish the game would let me use the 2nd screen for the 'mega'map (wouldn't be mini if it took up the whole screen :D) . I loved the Supcom implementation.
