Able to Equip Multiple Items of Same Type?

Is this by design?

I just realized that I can equip two body armors or two sets of gloves simultaneously. Is this by design, or is this an unintended feature that will be patched later? I don't want to get used to it if it will be removed later.

I haven't tried this with two different sets of boots, but I'm assuming it would be the same.

It is intended, you just have the "equippable" slots that limit the number of items, not type.

So technically (dont know why would you) but you can have 5 helms, or boots etc.
