Does the game have assigned hot keys for buildings? If not, do you have the ability to assign hot keys?
The reason I ask, is it's a pain to have to scroll through the map to target a building to teleport to - would be easier with hot keys.

I'm pretty sure there's no way to do that, but there should be.
The hotkey settings are pretty limited.
while there should be in game rebinding for all functions, there is a (free) solution. Download AHK (autohotkey). Make scripts to rebind your keyboard. Its very simple. A script consisting of simply A::T effectively rebinds the A key to T
That will work for Teseer's WASD problem, but it won't allow us to assign hotkeys to buildings. 
yes, my reply wasn't directed at the OP. Is it really that big of a deal though? A quick spin of the mouse scroll wheel to zoom out adds like a second. In a perfect world yes, there would be bindings to buildings but I don't see that as nearly in the same league as not being able to rebind camera keys
