EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION 0x0044e85c ?

I have bought this fine game after trying it at a friends house, and i must admit i was sold right away.

Bought the game over the net (live in EU) but now I seem to have a problem.

I can instal the game, i can loging, set my prefs and everything... except the all important one of actualy playing the game.

As soon as I start a skirmish, tournament or any other gametype the game crashes giveing me this message

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at address 0x0044e85c

(...insert about 100 lines of code...)

I have checkt the forum about 5 times over, and have yet to find ANY explation as too why it wont work. I dont have logitech webcams or anything like that. Firewall works fine and does nothing to the game (turned it off to test it). Drivers are new and my pc can play crysis on the highest settings. So can someone please tell me why this cute little and highly enjoyable game, will not run on my computer ?

I too am in the same situation, i live in britain and i have gotten Demigod online. Everytime i start up demiodits fine up until i select skirmish or tornament, if i select tournament it will get onto the tournament loading screen (the black one with shiny loading bar) and very rarely gets onto the map loading screen then the game crashes, if i select skirmish the game will crash very often even if im just selecting a game character or pressing the im ready button, if i manage to click the launch game button then it crashes on this loading screen too. Please help, i have just bought this game and would very much like to play it after playing it at my friends house. BTW my computer runs Crysis well on max settings so my computer is above the min requirements.

I get these errors as well. Usually after a failed connection, I get a freeze or exception error. Connections are still a nightmare. Honestly though, DG is the funnest game I never get to play - YAY!
