Different servers?

Question;

A friend of mine pre-ordered Demigod in the Netherlands (release date 8th of May), while i'm considering buying it through the internet (download-version). Might this cause any problems as a difference in version of the downloadable version and the 'european', like in different servers?

I'm hoping to play ASAP, and waiting another month or so is kinda far off :),

but on the other hand i'm hoping it won't mean i can't play with my friend ..

 

Anyone that can shed a light on this for me?

Hello,

 

There is no reason you couldn't play with your friend once with your friend once he gets his atari-slow local version. as far as I'm aware their is no great differrence between the downloadable version and the dvd version. Well as far as he applies the updates went their is a promt asking for it :p
