Triple Alliance

Is it plausible

Hey all,

I'm only new to this forum and I haven't got SINS yet, but I will, and no this isn't a gameply question cause I know there will be those of you who would love to insult me because you play this game more which will make you look like an idiot (sorry but its true).

It's more of a story and possible expansion, but reading the Vasari story shows them as basically getting their asses whooped so they ran to the area the other two factions are occupying. And since have been forstalled in their attempts to continue fleeing. What if they communicated the situation to the TEC and Advent, and possibly creating an alliance, even a temporary one, between the three of them. They would focus on building a huge fleet and together face the unknown enemy. Fighting each other is grueling down each faction and they will all be annihilated by this enemy when it does eventually show up.

This could be a possible expansion which would not only introduce a fourth faction but also possibly add a campaign to the game.

The Vasari did face the comming darkness with the Dark Fleet, which consited of hundred of thousands of ships, 10,000 years ago and only a single ship survived heavily damaged and the crew insane with fear.  Whatever is comming, in the Vasari's mind, cannot be defeated and they must go underway within a few years.  This would make it very low chance for a diplomatic exchange with TEC and Advent especailly with 15 years of slavery and genocide.

Insulting those that have played for a while, or play semi-regularly is a REALLY nice way to introduce yourself to the forums!!!

Firstly, any strategist knows that if you're first plan doesn't work you must change tactics. Considering the situation, I doubt that the others would care much as to what they did. Plus, three civilizations working together and to each others strengths, a combined fleet of 1000 ships could topple 5000 enemy craft.

And as for the insult, you know that someone like me who hasn't played yet is a target to those couple of fools who will ruin the experience. Thats why i didn't make the mistake of asking a gameplay question before i play, and therefore stopping the inevitable noob based insults coming my way.

Lastly, even if i get banned for these small remarks (and yet plain and obvious truth) its just a forum to which i posted 1 very plausible idea. Like i would care if this account is removed.

Really though, the worst thing that will happen is you'll be called a "noob." However, the people on this forum and in the game itself are generally rather helpful and will come to your defense usually. You coming on the forum and insulting those same people will only alienate you and cause you to become a huge target. If it doesn't need to be said, don't say it.

Oh one person you need to watch out for is Annatar11, he'll come and steal all your karma...

How are TEC and Advent going to ally against an enemy they can not see, with a power they do not know, based off the word of a race out to enslave and exploit them?

Bobucles, it will be pretty obvious that there is a problem when their own worlds start dying, plus they could always send some scouts or prowlers.

Nuke, seriously, I know most people are nice and helpful and I won't deny that. But can you tell me one well known game or forum that doesn't have a couple people like that. If you can give me a honest and real answer I'll never complain again. Besides, this post was about my idea, I just wanted that problem with the insulters to be adressed and over with, I didn't expect to have a discussion over it. Trust me, i haven't played, so I would love any game related help I could get.

As for karma, I have none, so he'll have fun trying to steal something that isn't there.

And also, does the Vasari threat actually pose a problem to TEC and Advent? We're still uncertain what the threat is, or if it will destroy the Trader and Advent people. Along with the Vasari's cruelty, an alliance would be very unlikely.

I'm wondering why everyone's concentrating on the Vasari instead of the Advent. They're practically brainwashed to hate the TEC and would never ally with them unless they were 100% sure they'll be destroyed without an alliance (which makes it kinda funny when you ally in game), and even then they might not.

it could be seen many diffrent ways but the way i see it i would say the advent and tec would ally against it if they had some of their planets inveloped with this darkness but the fleet would have to consist of thousands upon thousands of ships and would have t have some heavy firepower too.

but he will hire nijas to hack your account and give him karma for no reason
