Only 7 arenas?

Why is there only 7 arenas to fight in? I thought there would be at least 20-30 of them. Just hope I don't get bored too fast.

There are eight arenas :P.

I don't think you will get bored too quickly because of the number of arenas.  They are pretty simple so additional ones probably wouldn't be too much different from the current ones.

Probably because they are very hard to make.  Each arena is it's own model, not simply a map, so it takes a long time to make them, ignoring possible balancing and testing issues.

I'd rather have 8 good maps, than 20-30 mediocre maps.

I think board games and DotA are proof that complexity and depth are not derived soly from the map/game board.

(In the case from Demigod, I comes from the depth of the skill trees, the gear and of course play skill (micro))

that can definately be seen in dota. The average intense player has prolly played that 1 map what... 500 times?:P

It would be interesting to see future maps with "environmental variables," such as bridges that could be raised and lowered or partially destructible environments.

Yes that is the kind of stuff I would want with new maps.  The maps we have now are a good mix of small, medium and large maps.  Adding more of the same wouldn't improve the game.

If i remeber correctly, more will be added for free.

Still beats the one arena Hosk and Dota both have, even if they have a bit more of a nature tint. Give it time and we'll see some sweet stuff.

hehe yeah I kind of feel the same way.  We played Crucible over and over and over and over and over and over for so long
