Hey guys. i'm sorry if this has already been asked (i looked and don't think so)...
but will this game run on a ATI Radeon 9700 Pro graphics card?

I'm no Demigod developer, but I have to guess that it would not work. The 9700 Pro is a few generations behind the recommended video card specs and I believe it does not have SM3 support which, I believe, is required to run the game if my memory serves right.
Sorry, but I wouldn't bet on it.

No. But it does run it. you'll get like 3 frames per second.
I had an ati 9600 and I got like 1 fps.
You can always buy a new one dirt cheap. The Nvidia 7800, which is the min spec I believe, should be like 15 bucks now hehe. You can get a decently better one for under $100.
For pc gaming you really need to keep video cards updated, if nothing. Sorry! ^-^
I'm sorry, but no. Demigod uses shader model 3.0, which your card doesn't support. The ATI X1600 series (and above) is what you will need.
If you will post your system specs, then perhaps the community could suggest an economical alternative for you.
BTW, I own the same card. (It's in a cubby in my desk, and I'm looking at it now). It served me well in it's day.
get a Geforce 260 GTX their really cheap now ($100-$150) ... of coarse I believe that the 9700 Pro was an AGP card so you will probably have to upgrade your motherboard, cpu, and ram in the process 
oh well. i guess i have to get started on upgrading.
