It depends an awful lot on the scope that you're considering. Within the known universe as a whole, yeah, you're damn insignificant, at least as far as I can tell. Within the scope of your neighborhood, or your family, or your city block, or whatever, your influence is probably fairly noticeable.

Look at your past, your history, the life roots, the decisions both good and bad. The people you've influenced and talked to. Take a hard look at everything you went though and ask yourself have I made a difference? I think you'll find you've made a greater impact then you initally thought.
