using substyles?

Well I downloaded this Visual style from DA, it says it has about 8 substyles you can use, but I can only get one to work, how do you use the subtyles? I am kind of new to windowBlinds so any help would be greatly apreciated.

Theres a dropdown box.. sorta bottom right that contains substyles... pick one.. then click APPLY on left.
