menus blacked out

I have gone through the help files and not found an answer to this; my pop up menus in object dock. when the mouse hovers over them they turn black and I can't read them anymore. also I have windowblinds, and impulse and a few other things installed. could it be windowblinds? is it within object dock? I had fences but I uninstalled it cuz of problems it was causing. I also have mycolors installed and used that too.

Ok. Impluse says I have iconpackager (not used yet).
Mycolors (used).
my colors diamond desktop (used).
object desktiop launchpad (used).
object dock (used).
skinstudio 6 pro (used).
theme manager (used)
windowblinds (used).

Is there a conflict with those? Did one of them not work? What did I miss.

I can't read my menus. Doesn't happen in all programs, but in dock and in a few other programs, notably in firefox when using the IE engine. And in IE. And a few others.
