Hey All,
Got a quick question...When a minor race who "has been working closely with our spies" manages to steal another major civ's tech and wants star systems in exchange, how do you take advantage of this? I've tried all kinds of different things, but to no avail,

In 3+ years playing i have never seen it work as described. It's just a borked feature that the devs overlooked and has never been addressed.
I doubt at this point in the GC2 life cycle that we should see any change to that....unfortunately.
I agree that the event certinly doesn't seem to work as implied/described.
The one (minor) thing that is accomplished by the event is that the minor power involved subsequently has those stolen techs in its "portfolio", and you may be able to do regular trading with them for some of those techs, over the course of time.

Hey drrider! Been quite a long time since I've seen you around here.
Sentient species taste better...
All the event does is give the minor race access to the tech, you still need to trade it off them somehow. All minor races like to be offered systems though.
Unless like me the minor race your spies choose to work with happens to be the one you've been at war with for the past few years.
