i guess 'discuss impeachments' woulda been more amusing but....

I think it is a valid point. There is probably a substantial number of Democrats who are paralyzed with fear about entering into a disussion of their religiosus beliefs.

In actuality, though, as I said in my blog, most people are way beyond the idea that politicians somehow come into office as robots with no expression of personal ethos. Far more often we just assume they have an agenda that they covertly engage in and politically obscure.

it would foster much more trust to know what these people think and feel, instead of just being fed whatever the demographics tell them to say at election time.

I think Clinton said it best when he said:

actually i just thought it was an amusing headline that could easily be misinterpreted as criminal convictions
