Wow, we are spoiled by Stardock/ICG....

Try playing ETW people!   After playing it for 1wk i fell back on HOII2 and SOASE to get my strat fix .

care to type out what all those abreviations stand for? SOASE is the only one i recognize.

ETW = Empire: Total War

HOI2 + Hearts of Iron 2

 

What was wrong with Empire: Total War anyway?

Lots of bugs,  CTD's and ALOT of really poor AI script.

I've stoppped playing ETW until there's a couple of patches out.  After that it should be great

I agree.  I was really looking forward to Dawn of War II and ETW.  Now that I have 'em, I find myself playing Sins, EVE and chess (I always play chess  ) much more than either of those titles.  DoWII missed the mark in many ways and ETW is just too much like a beta in its current state.

Thanks for the info on ETW.  I was really thinking about getting that one.  I will, more than likely, but I think I'll wait a bit now.
