PLEASE READ: Some notes on beta 3F

We just released Beta 3F of Demigod to the public.

A few important things to note:

1. This build comes off the Beta branch. So this isn't some "near gold"

2. It has a changed connectivity dialog that we're in the process of getting rid of.

3. The new Skirmish  matchmaking is in this build but has not really been tested yet so it'll be hit and miss.

4. There's a bug in the lobby where the slots are all messed up looking. It's fixed in the main branch but we wanted to get this beta out to you so that we can try out the new, faster servers.

1) Alt-Shift crashes Demigod in 3F

Alt-Tab does not crash 3F for me, but opening up the chat panel (shift + tab) does.

Ditto.  I just hit shift+tab and dg froze up for a moment, then CTD with no error message.

edit: Oh, I see it's already been fixed. Download:  http://sd.stardock.com/ImpulseOverlay.zip and replace the file in the /bin directory of DG install.

I have a freezing issue? not sure if this is common with most people, but every minute or so the game freezes for about 5seconds and then continues? it becomes quite frustrating as teh game turns into a very stop start action? or am I just doing something wrong??

We're seeing it too.  Not every 5 seconds but pretty regularly.
