As many of you might already know, the WinCustomize 2009 site update is coming soon.  We have dropping some hints and previews here and there, and everyone involved is hard at work to get the site ready for its launch.

The other day, Frogboy posted another preview along with a full-size screenshot for your viewing enjoyment.

In case you missed it, check it out now.

Is this for real? Not another April Fool's joke? I'd love to navigate this site with custom skins. Because after all, that's what WinCustomize is all about; Customization!!! :HOT:

Agree with #1. The site seems lately a bit mundane and kinda boring at times...:(

What I would like to know is what is going to happen to the non-Stardock theme galleries, or, more specifically, the Winstep theme gallery and it's 400+ themes, of course. :)

As far as I know, the galleries will remain, but not be as prominently featured.

Guess I should renew, huh?

The filters and smart search sound like really good tools. So the explore link = the gallery link? And where is the Help link?

And lots more in the can! ;) AeroExecutive is looking awesome so far. If I can get permissions it'll be the next one.

So a website is bloatware?

Is previewing a skin going to change?

Right now, you click on the picture or title which goes to the page showing skin info and comments, then you click again on the picture and go to a new 'info' window which has a full page preview. Sometimes, it seems to take forever, especially when you're searching for something specific in a gallery. Love to see that process changed somehow.

I believe the GUIC site was a "preview" of what was intended for WC2009 in that area.

Lantec, I just checked out the GUIC site, it's still almost the same time process cause you have to click on the skin which brings you to the skin's page - then you can click for a preview.

I was hoping WC would change it so that you could preview a skin without leaving the gallery.Oh well, you can't always get what you wish for! X(

But thanks for letting me know :sun:
