Banned because this is going to be a good year for games: two new HALOs, a new Zelda, and finally another Sly game.

Banned because one isn't really new, it's just a retake of the best game in the series.

Banned because it'll be new for me. I got 3 first, then 2 and Reach at essentially the same time.

(Needless to say, some of the cutscenes left me a bit confused at first )

Banned for not playing Halo 1...you have angered the gods of gaming...may they have mercy upon your...nah, tear him a new one, he brought this on himself! 

Between me and my brother in law we have all the halos they've released so far, including halo wars, even though it wasn't done by the same people.

Of all of them, I like Reach the least, and for my favorite, I really do have to say the first one wins, every time.  (It's also the hardest due to the fact that they took out the health bar in all the other games until Reach.)

I hope the anniversary edition isn't just a reprogramming so it fully works on 360.  Adding in the new weapons and armor powers would make this a kick ass addition to my collection.  Sadly, I doubt this will be the case...

First a little background, from my own post way earlier in the thread.

The survey was pretty simple. We asked people to estimate the number of military dead in the Iraq War, the number of civilian dead, and then we told them the real military number and asked them to do civilians again:

We got enormous understatements of civilian deaths and overstatements of military deaths from people, and when I administered the survey dressed as a soldier, I got even BIGGER numbers for military deaths and even smaller civilian numbers than when my friend administered it dressed as a hippie. We also got a few more people refuse Hippe than Soldier, but it wasn't a significant difference. I can post a graph with our actual numbers...

 So, anyway, what I forgot to tell you was that we got quite a list of moronic answers:

1. "What's a civilian? Are they the terrorists?" (This one went on for a while)
2. "And how many civilians were killed?" ... "Well, I don't know how many but I hope we get them all!"
3. "And how many civilians were killed?" ... (Completely serious)"A billion."
4. (From "Soldier" surveyor)"And how many civilians were killed?" ... "Three thousand. I was in the service, so I know! (the actual number is closer to 100,000) It's a thankless job, innit?"
5. "Civilians? They prob'ly killin' them guys left and right, man!"
6. "Maybe if they'd stop shooting themselves they would stop dying."
7. "I don't think we can trust the numbers the government gives us."
8. "Which Iraq War? We fought three!!" (The US did, in fact, fight two wars in Iraq)
9. "Ok, and now that you know the official number of military casualties, do you have a new estimate of civilian deaths?"... "Yes."....... (long pause).... "What is your new estimate?"......... LOOOOOOOOOOONg pause..... "Oh, it's the same."

Don't worry much about it. I've been abroad and they're just as clueless as to what's going on.

That 'clueless' problem can bite you in the ass whether the clueless are at home or abroad. Especially if the youngest democracies get as strung out on opinion polling as we in the US are. Astrology and Tarot make more sense to me--at least they define themselves as mysteries. Statistics is only science when it is applied to things like estimating your white blood cell count. When you ask people to answer questions, you're off the ranch, empirically speaking.

banned for that's why you have to take it easy. It sucks that people don't care to be informed and all, but you can't change it all. If you meet someone open to learning, then teach. Otherwise, it's just preaching for preaching's sake. Besides, humans are what they are and have always been. Any significant change is going to be a long ass process, relatively speaking.
