"Sins" not showing as available for download in Impulse

Hi all,

I purchased Sins of a Solar Empire shortly after its release via StarDock's digital download service. At the time, I don't recall it being called Impulse. Around the same time, I purchased the retail boxed versions of GalCiv II and Dark Avatar and digitally registered them with the same download service. Since then, I have removed all of these games from my system, but recently felt the need to dive back into some "Sins". I downloaded Impulse, and was successfully able to log in, but the only games listed in the "My Games" tab are Galactic Civilization II and GCII: Dark Avatar. Any suggestions on how to go about getting StarDock to recognize and validate my original purchase of "Sins" so I don't have to spend another $29.95 on this game? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

PS. I have searched, but I cannot find the email receipt of my purchase of "Sins".

Did you change e-mails? The registration is attached to your email address, so if it changed then your new one wouldn't have the registration. This is also supported by the fact that you can't find your old receipt. You should contact [email protected] and ask them to take a look.

Send an email to [email protected] with any email addresses you may have used with us in the past. If you made the purchase with PayPal it may have been associated under another email. Once we can locate where your software is we will merge the accounts together so the game will show up when you sign into Impulse.

I bought Sins at Walmart and I'm just looking to register it..I can see my serial and other registered games but where I

actually register it. I can't install it on my pc and register it because of an issue with my dvd-rom I didn't know that was there when I bought it

Click the Impulse orb in the top left and "Register a product", then you'll just be able to download the latest Sins version without worrying about the disk.

Thanks very much for your support, Annatar11 and Kend0. I have sent the email as you suggested and look forward to hearing from Stardock on this matter. Thanks again!

Wow. I am totally impressed with Stardock's customer support. Within just a few hours, my problem was rectified. My software was found, my accounts were merged, and I am currently downloading Sins on Impulse. What a tremendous and hassle-free customer service experience. Too bad more companies don't respond like Stardock.

On a different note, but in the same vein: Being a longtime Steam user, I have to say that the slickness of the Impulse application makes Valve's buggy POS installer look like trash.

Anyway, I'm a very happy customer. Thanks again to the posters who helped.
