Cant seem to figure this out...

Ok, so i have two computers. a laptop which has internet and SoaSE installed along with inpulse.  It is up-to-date with v1.16. however it will not play, nor do i want to play it on my laptop.

But i have a home computer without any internet connection whatsoever.

My question is, Can i get my patched version from my laptop to my other PC w/o internet? and if so how?

Ive tried a few things, including compressing and extracting files (from laptop to other PC). Ive done that with previous games and they have played. However with Sins, it tells me i have to activate it still. and i cant since i have no internet on that computer. But shouldnt it already be activated anyways?

Any advice would be helpful. thanks :grin:

does your home pc have a network card or something? because it should be possible to access internet via another computer?

other than that, I'd have thought that a full copy and paste of the whole sins directory would work. you say that prompts an activation error?

In early April they should be releasing Impulse Anywhere that will let you do this sort of thing on completely offline PCs.

No, unfortunately my home pc does not haa no internet access capability. And yes, it asks me to activate it anyways after i paste it.

But i can wait till early april for the new impulse.
