Object Dock & disk activity

Hello,

I have recently installed ObjectDock (free version) and I like it very much.

However, I experience repeating problems when there is a lot of disk activity on my system (Acer laptop, dual core, Vista, 3GB ram) eg. when a backup process is running (True Image) or a virus scan is active (Symantec Business). The effects I see are:

- Wrong titles above icons

- Icons are still being displayed after ObjectDock is hidden

- Vista reporting "ObjectDock" has stopped working.

- all windows on screen are not repainted or contents is shifted  approx. the height of ObjectDock

It has come to point that I stop ObjectDock to have  a functional system during excessive disk activity.

Has anybody experienced the same or is it just my system?

It's a known issue with the E-Security program that comes pre-loaded on most Acer computers.  The update available here: http://www.egistec.com/oem-acer001/program-update.html should clear it up.

What did you try to install, the patch for Adobe Dreamweaver or the updated version, 2.8, for the eDataSecurity. You need to install version 2.8.
