I am a full subscriber to the Object Desktop bundle and can not find any link for the update new version of Deskscapes 2.5. Why is this?
Yes, but while I see the Deskscapes Icon (that shows 2.0 is installed), where is currently no 'upgrade' avenue appearing.
You should see the update listed under the 'Updates' tab at the top. It should be version 2.50.069. If you do not see the updates tab or if you do not see DeskScapes listed within it, click the orb in the upper left corner of Impulse and then click 'Preferences'. Click the 'Reset Data' button and let it do it's thing. Once you get signed into Impulse again check for the update.
How do you actually tell which version is installed though? When I go to "About Stardock Deskscapes" in the Deskscapes utility, it says v2.00 (#106). The information panel at the bottom of Impulse says 2.50. Should I believe the version stated in the impulse info panel or in the application about dialog?
Impulse is always the best way to determine the version you have installed. In app version numbers are not always accurately updated.
