Mouse lags on second machine

I have been using Multiplicity for the past 3 years np at all.

the minute i changed to WAN problems started to happen.

mouse lags and stutters when on the second machine. and occasionally multiplicity disconnects.

my internet is not affected the least.

Any help is appreciated.

both machine run win xp.
