Cannot move objects on dock

Hi All,

I have installed objectdock on  VistaUltimate 32 today.  I cannot drag an object from one part of the dock to another.  I have searched drag, cannot etc and I can't find the answer/  I have it on 4 XP machines so I think I know a bit about how it works but I am sure I am missing something.

I have Vista Home Premium, nothelix...and have never had problems with it...but I have Object Dock Plus. From your post I'm understanding you have the free public download? If so, maybe it doesn't support drag and drop in the dock itself. you can, however, drag off the dock and then drag back on again where you want...you'll lose the docklet you drag off, but can replace it from a shortcut.

Did you reboot after the install?

Is your mouse set up for left-hand use?(known issue)

Is "Lock Dragging" checked?

Both the free and plus versions support drag,btw.

right click on dock, in context menu "mouse over" view, in the sub menu make sure "Lock icon dragging" is unchecked.

Also, make sure you are not running ObjectDock as Admin on Windows Vista (that is, right clicking and selecting "Run as administrator" or setting this flag in the apps properties).  We've seen some weirdness when you do this, including dragging issues (although usually shows up when trying to drag items into the dock.)
