Entrenchment developer version not working in 1.02?

Ok, a new problem - since updating to 1.02, the Entrenchment developer version no longer works. I get a string of assert errors, then a failure to read a file error (linked to orbital defense modules), then a minidump. All my files are in order and the regular 1.02 version works just fine. But this makes it a bit hard to debug efficiently.

Anyone got simmilar issues?

Solved:

I'm having major issues with Forge Tools 3 which prevent me from having a smooth workflow, and in some cases from doing any modding at all.

The primary one is that I get a "ConvertData.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." error whenever I try to run convertdata, either the vanilla or entrenchment versions. I can't use the provided txt format files because in this particular example it seems something was changed for Entrenchment 1.02 and I need to convert relevant files directly from the installation folder.

The other issue is with the Particle Forge 3 - first, if I set the background box, it will always show as pitch black until I change it to something else, and this happens every time I start the program. Second, every time I exit the program, I get the "Encountered an error" message, otherwise it runs fine. And third, it refuses to render meshes - particle meshes, even ship meshes you set in the global setting, all are completely invisible. Makes it a bit hard to scale particle effects...

I have Microsoft Net Framework 3.5 SP1 installed. And I have no idea what's going on and why it isn't working. Anyone's got simmilar issues?

Yeah, I always solve my problems a minute after I post about them on the forums.  :|

I took a heavy-handed approach and just copied *everything* from my Sins installation folder to the folder where I keep the forge tools. Now they work. Guess something was missing, some .dll or whatnot.

Yes, it is no longer working. I get a whole bunch of assert errors, then a failure to read a file linked to the orbital defense modules, then a minidump. I'll change the OP to ask about that instead.
