Devs are talking about bringing in two new Demigods on day 0 (doubtful) or within a month or two of release.
I'm betting on Occulus and the Yoshimitsu looking fella, how about you?
i am pretty sure i saw an artwork of a demigod made of cristal a long time ago.
Occulus would be fun, especially if he could interact with the creeps.
Only a month or 2 to wait after the release to see 2 others demigods? that's really great!
There were some references to Occulus in the early beta files (spell lists and stuff) that weren't there for the others, so probably him. The steampunk-looking falconer-woman looks like a General so maybe her too.
I don't think they ever mentioned new demiogds for day 0. This is only planned and we get them only if Demigod does well in sales. If demigod only sells 10,000 copies, then we probably won't get any new demigods.
Also if I remember correctly, they have 4 demigods prototypes. They will select which 2 gets chosen depending on the balance after release. So if they realize the game needs more melee demigods, they will pick the melee one, etc.

Anyway, due to his appearance in the old files, I'd bet that Oculus is in. As a second, I'd like that crystaline guy. Kestrel used his concept art as an avatar for a while. Looks like there might be some kind of stealth gameplay going on there

Oculus can be fun, i like his look. And hypnotising the minotaurs so they jump in the void would be fun (not really the best skill of the game though)
In fact, all of the 4 unreleased demigods are promising they keep with the original design of the game (i am so bored of poor the graphical design of so many games, is it so difficult to imagine something else than a dwarf that can't stand nympho-elves?).
Judging from the old artworks, they need a little more love, but the artworks of the Torchbearer for exemple isn't half as great as the final model, so i hope they will polish those the same way.

indeed, it is hard to find many stuff on them. The devs probably don't want to speak about them now, it will create more buzz to reveal them after the release. Still, you can find one thing or two HERE.
Oh yeah. I want some fast falcon minions to chase runners. So I hope her.
But then again, she might not be a general. She might just be an Assassin with spells that sends the one out to attack..
We already got 2 female generals, but no assassins yet... how am i gonna sell this game to my girl if the falcon lady ain't gonna be one either ? hah 
the falconess is a general, back when the concept arts where still in the imagename had the same formatting as all other generals. For example HESA = Hero Good Sniper Assassin = Regulus ; HEMA = Hero Evil Mage Assassin = Torchbearer ; The Falconess had definitely a G in the end as did Oak, Oculus, Sedna, Erebus and QoT.
Interesting.
Speculation: The four not included so far are divided between Light and Dark, and include one Assassin and one General for each side. Falconess and Occulus are Generals, but for which side? Yoshimitsu looks Dark, which makes Crystalline Light Assassin?
hum actually Rook has a "G" at the end and Sedna a "A" - but for all 6 other demigods it is consistent, strange so my theory might be wrong. However the E and G at second position stands for Evil and Good definitely as this works for all 8 demigods, Oculus and Falconess have both a G and the 2 others a E , so it probably will be Oculus and one of the two evil guys - probably also means that Falconess is no general but an assassin.

i think that this falconess lady can be great either as an assassin and a general (with very low hp, high velocity high dps falcons).
Again, i want to thank gpg for their willingness to make an original design and not just a manga or comics copy.
Hope game sells well and we can get more then 2 or maybe they could surprise us with more then 2 probably not but gotta be a wishfull thinker
question is when do we get 11 and 12. i hope to god they dont expect us to play 9,99 for two Demigods, id rather pay 29,99 for 6 more or something.
Well, the upside would be that we could play the new demigods earlier. And you might skip a pair if you dont like them. I would really like one or two new 3v3 maps though. The graphics for the maps doesnt need to be too fancy, they could even recycle one of the other maps backgrounds as far as Im concerned.

I guess I should have picked up on it two weeks ago when the journals came out, is that what you mean? I was looking through old threads today and came across this one, had honestly forgotten about it but kinda got a kick at choosing correctly before we knew anything about the new DGs other than what LUA files told us...
It didn't seem worth it to make a new thread pointing out the lucky guess, but if you'd prefer I can do that next time? Fairly confused on the protocol I apparently spat on here...
