Entrenchment question

can I still go back and play with a friend on regular sins?

I'm thinking about getting entrenchment, but I have a friend who probably won't be getting it any time soon, can I get it and still play regular sins with him online?

ya they act like seperate games file wise. So you could play entrenchment or load up original sins instead no problem.
