I have finally gotten the hook ups required to play sins online and I have obviously made an account with a correct CD
Key and when i go to play I try to log in and it say i dont have the correct version I have downloaded and installed the new update 5 times and reinstalled 2 times....whats wrong?
That's not really a number 
It's 1.15 for vanilla Sins, or 1.01 for Entrenchment. Is one of those what you've got?
Look at the bottom right. The newest for SINS is 1.15 make sure you have that one.

The standalone patch that you're probably using is an old version. The latest one is available only via Impulse.
