That sounds like either a real severe driver issue or there's a hardware problem somewhere, especially if you're seeing distortion/static on the bluescreen itself.

Best of luck on getting it resolved.

Install Vista SP1 and then if it happens again answer the following questions.  Is your grahics card overclocked?  What about your CPU or RAM?  What are the temps?

Hey, I was having those sort of issues.... but not lately (cross-fingers).  I had one crash that reminded me of an old problem when I lived in Florida, "overheating".

I installed "speedfan" ( google for it ) to check the temps....

Then I removed/cleaned the dust from fans, etc.  I smoke alot, too.

Haven't crashed yet.

Yeah. that might be the problem.

its a mini atx motherboard the i took out of its case and put into a bigger case

and put a graphics card and more ram in there

what i probably need to do is get better cooling for the compy

what i did try is

And still crashed:

sp1, reinstalling it, and deleting temp files

im not over clocking it at all. i have been the only person to touch my computer.

Can you post you're DxDiag.txt?

Looking at this error it is a driver issue or hardware failure. Games like DemiGod will drive you're computer hot.
