Non-Stardock serial number

Impulse won't DL Entrenchment

Folks,

I bought Sins last year before Impules was either up and running or I have forgotten what I am supposed to do with it.

I'm trying to add Entrenchment, I bought it yesterday and I can't get by the front end of Impulse. It says that I haven't registered my off the shelf copy of Sins, so I type in the serial number and then it won't take it because it is not a Stardock generated serial number.

I tried to update the serial and nothing happened. I have enjoyed this game in the past, downloaded some mods for it (7 Sins mod, great mod guys, and thanks for it) and now bought something I can't seem to get by all the crap that needs to work to get the dang download.

A nudge or shove in the right direction would be helpful, thanks in advance.

The number you got with the box IS a stardock generated one. I was able to register mine with no issues. Contact [email protected] for help.

If you can't get a hold of them because of the weekend, you might as well try substituting letters and/or numbers that you might be reading incorrectly for another.  I vs. 1, etc.  Might work out, you never know.  I've frequently read CD-Keys incorrectly over the years.

Make sure the dashes are there too ABCDE-FGHIJ... instead of ABCDEFGHIJ

The serials only contain numbers and letters A-F, so 1 will always be one and 0 will always be zero. In any case, support should be able to assist the OP. The only instance where the game ships with a non-Stardock number that I'm aware of is the Russian version (it comes with a special code to register with the Rus publisher, who then gives you the actual serial to register with us).

A week or so ago I had to reinstall off the disk to test something.. was the first time I opened the box. :x
