Lay mine ability

I have a personal mod that me and my friends play where I have removed all strike craft and carrier ships from the game except for the cap ship carrier. My problem now is with the expansion the advant carrier is the ship that lays mines for the advent. So far all my attempts to give lay mines ability to different advent ship have resulted into mini dumps. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

well this is easy. add "SquadPsiMineLayer" to the 3rd strikecraft line in the advent carrier. heres an example:
