DS crashes after I try to apply moving background

I have the free trial and Im really interested in getting it to work before i consider buying it.

DS crashes after I try to apply the moving background. I get a "Run a DLL as an App" error.

Error signature:

AppName: rundll32.exe

AppWer: 5.1.2600.5508

ModName: deskscapesshellxp.dll

ModVer: 2.0.0.106

Offset:00006660

I did the install as requesed from the program. I installed IE8, .net 2.0, and a free mpeg-2 decoder from a free codec site (not sure if i'm allowed to post info from another site here.)

I have Windows xp pro SP3 32bit.

Yeah...pretty much doesn't work for XP. Which is a bummer.

Have you tried all the dreams that come with DS? Do any of them work?

Yup, tried all of them. O well, their loss, considering a fair amount of people still use XP
