What Skins Were Hot in 2006?

And you know what?  There will always be folks bashing skinning as being unoriginal and wasteful of resources.  Sad.

My favorite from '06 was Ecliz Deluxe. I've been using it since it came out. I've been looking to replace it for a while, but none have quite fit the bill.

2006 wow the good old days...... there were so many people about then, i can remember my skin Solaire 2.1 had over 5,000 downloads the first day....... Where did thay all go..... ... Good picks ID but there were so many great skins back then.

Just a question for personal reference.  Will the skins from 2006 load and apply correctly with the current version of WindowBlinds?

I do understand that they would more than likely not work very well on a Vista system.

Now why would you put that cursor??? haha first and worse cursor I've ever made haha cool post, it's nice to remember how one has changed throughout time, by the way, chaninja's theme is still in my collection and it will stay there for a loooong time   

Sure wish some of those will be updated soon. Also would like to see a revamped Sputnik suite

They will all load and most would look OK.

  Man, I put out my first screenshot October that year! A scared little Newb! Windowblinds was evolving from 4 to 5, alpha blending was made possible because of that and it became the hip thing to do to a desktop. And everything had to look, do and act just like Vista! Hell you guys we're doing Vista and beyond 2 years before Vista even came out.   To me it was JJYing's Dreamland that stunned the skinning world in 2005, because it wasn't possible until WB5. Now, here we all are reflecting on 3 years ago like it was an eternity, but the way the software has evolved, the difference is eternity.

This is all great, but something I've been meaning to ask for the last 3-4 years, is this....what's up with having 367 pages of Windowblinds skins, and not having a function "go to page"??.....it's impossible to see/browse to the skins burried in the middle of the que'....rediculous, and not really fair to some of those great skins. Kodiak-

I would love to get a Vista version of the ChaNinja WB. Is one available?

ChaNinja one my favorite skin of all time.   Hope to see it on vista.  

There are some old skins that I really love and wish they were updated to support the latest features. ChaNinja and GT3OS are definitely on that list.

It would also be nice if you could sort/view skins by version of WB supported, whether it supports XP or Vista and level of completion; i.e. some skins are very minimal in features and others are fully loaded.

Some old skins still have some good life left in them...I'm using a WB right now that dosnt even have perpixel frames.

change the last number to the page number you would like to go to.......not too difficult

if you just entered the gallery you'll have to add the &p= as well
