Still More Spy Qs

I know that spies return to the "pool" if one invades and captures the planet on which the spies are posted.  However, there are a few wrinkles I have yet to be able to test.

1) If a planet changes hands due some transaction (bought, or traded for tech, etc.), do the spies go with the planet or return to the pool?

2) If a planet changes hands due to Jagged Knife?

3) What if it changes hands due to being "flipped"?

4) What if it changes hands because a DIFFERENT empire captured the planet?

Don't know about the Jagged Knife, I assume it's the same as anything else.

For 1,3 and 4, all spies will remain, unless they belong to the new owner. If the Krynn flip or invade a Terran planet you had a spy on, it will still be there - assuming the building it's on survives the invasion, that is. Offhand, I couldn't tell you what happens if the building gets destroyed. If you invade a planet you have spies on, they return to the pool. Any third party spies will still be there, disabling your buildings.
