Just what it says I cant build even basic farms in the game can anyone tell me what I need to do to be able to build them or what I might be overlooking, any help here greatly appreciated es I have even looked on the tech tree but see nothing.
Which tech tree are you using? At least one of them (Thalans) lack all farming tech. You will either need to trade for it or do without. Most (if not all) other tech trees need some research to get basic farms. The Yor don't use farms at all, but charging stalks serve the same purpose.
The Torians, Yor, and Iconians all start with farm planet improvements, but they are not the traditional variety. They are unique to their civs, and they have the required techs researched before the game.
The Thalans also get one, but its a galatic achievement so they can only build one.
