(FOR TEAL)! I created a planet Self-Destructor!

It's a little chaotic in terms of entity quantity (have about 4-5 with in each links to various places...4-5 instant actions,etc.) but I have created (for my Assault Game mode) a planetary self-destructor.

Works like the DOME countdown...except that when it hits 0, it triggers an ability targetted to the local orbit body that causes tremendous damage (24K..so more than enough for any planet to succumb to it) meaning its immediate destruction!

Like countdown, it must be pre-set if oyu want all players to have a fair time allotment! BUT it can be simply added to a construction list to be built at any time like any other structure. but if that is to be envisionned then we might want it to contain some sort of hidden defense...like you self-destruct planet...but all ships in orbit suffer 60 000K damage (SHARED OF COURSE) and get hit by an ion blast which renders them useless for a minute or so!

You know like a last resort sort of thing but that needs a WARM-UP period to counter its spammability! (w8ing for last moment before trigerring it!)

:)  Hey Justin!!! This is AWESOME!!!!  :)  I have to try it, but after you first, okie?  And then we can have like mini-matches!  Haha, if i can finish building a fleet and get off planet before it blows!!  You know... this is Wonderful Wonderful News!!  Sort of like Speed Chess, only Speed Sins!!!  :)   I bet the tactics would fly fast and furious then.  :)  Quick Starting with a built in Fleet would probably be a good thing. Start right out of the ... what do they call them things the race horses come out of?  You know, like right from the start, haha.  :)  Or you know what?  This is a crazy thought, but what if you have a map, right?  And we make this little mod with the Timer you made, and like we take out all the research for all of the races, and we drop like a 25 ship fleet right in the gravity well on start up. And no more ships, no more research, well, wrong idea. Leave in the research, just take out the factories to make ships.   :)  Yes, that is better.  :)  And now we have like "I have to live with what i got!!!"   :)  And 30 minute timer ticking away, haha, or maybe an hour. Whatever.  :)

Well I needed it exactly for my assault game mode in which you have set amount of time to defeat your opponent (the defender) so yeah it could be easily adapted to any case!

Plus if theyre was a way to make it spawn the moment you capture a planet then youd have an awesome selfdestructor tool!

As for testing it...I've already done its various trials and it succeded in 'em all +_+

Uh, so you made a big DoDamage buff with a large range on a structure?

Actually its more of an ability that casts on self then apply buff to local orbit body which triggers a set amount of damage to activate after a certian period of time..completly destroying the planet (24K damage FTW)!

If thats what you wanna know +_+ Its currently used in Assault mode ;)

Planets have HP values? Or do you mean the pop on the planet?

Well what do you think you bring down when you hit with a siege vessel ;)

HP = Hit points ===> Infrastructure health!
