[Suggestion] something important missing in-game

its about giving us a bar showing all our allies name / hp

i will tell why..

imagine a big fight, you are sedna, and you ally is hidden without 15 mob, and not targettable, and about to die

it did often happen, especially in late games with giant and everything

so with a party bar, you could target him from there with the spell

this thing is mostly an essentiel thing that i ask, rather than a mere suggestion :P

its important, and vital , especially for support classes that can put buff on allies

thanks

full ack ;) In WC3 they "patched it in" really late but its a decent feature.

you can enable to see hp bars of friend or enemies or both permanently already with toggling through the different settings using the ~ button. I am nearly sure there is also a "show allied Demigod bars" only feature.

Also it isn't really that hard to do it without the bars, some may consider it nice to have but I wouldn't call it "important".

Displaying allies bars is already a good thing but being able to target our Demigod (or an ally) on icons/portraits could help a lot for healing/shielding ..etc .. when melee gets messy

It sounds like you want a party bar similar to world of warcraft so you can click on their portrait instead of on the actual character in a mess of fighting since you will most likely click the wrong person.  It would definitly help for the demigods that have buffs thats for sure.

Ultimeh before you insult me you should try the "restrict to demigods" button.

I don't want to end up with a game I play via the visual UI elements only, I believe in keeping UIs as small and cleaned up as possible, there is surely hundreds of nice things you could display via the UI but is it really worth cluttering the screen with them?

While this would be nice to have, i dont really see any need for it because you can use CTRL to make abilites target only demigods.

I have a feeling there will be a UI mod for this either way.

Yea, this suggestion has been made before.  GPG seems open to it, hopefully we'll see it in game.

Just make a icon above your friendly demigods that will stay ontop of everything else and clicking it would select the demigod, however it should be toggleable

In GuildWars it very, very useful for healer/buff classes. It can really help stuff when things get messy and it gives you a better overview of your allies and their health. Not 100% sure if thats a good thing though in DG...It would make healing/checking up on your allies much easier, perhaps even reduce the skill level/ceiling?
