V 1.14.045 Breaks the game on a completly fresh install

I downloaded the recent update through impulse, and now the game starts up, makes the error message noise, and sits there on a black screen. I have to Alt-Tab to this error message:

"MiniDump

Saved MiniDump:

C:\Users\Alexander\AppData\Local\Temp\Sins Dump\Sins-v1.14-2009-02-23-15-08-26-184-5904.dmp"

I click okay and the game crashes. This is on a completly clean install. I have no custom maps or any of the other provblems i have been able to find in the forums.

I am running Windows Vista 32 bit SP1, Intel Core 2 Extreme CPU Q6850, 4GB RAM, Dual NVIDIA GeFORCE 8800 Ultra using SLI. If there is anything else you need to know i will be happy to tell you.

You should send the minidump from that path to [email protected] and they'll take a look at it and see if it's something on your end.

I know you said it's completely fresh, but just to clarify, you also had no mods set to load on startup? The custom maps gives a Runtime C++ error rather than a minidump. Minidumps on game launch are favorites of old mods set to load on startup.

No mods whatsoever. This is about as gresh an install as i can get without wiping my hard drive and starting over.

Then yeah, send that minidump file to IC support, they should get back to you if it's on your end (and maybe even if it's not).

If you uninstalled and reinstalled, you may still have old files somewhere that the game tries to load and ends up crashing.
