[Connection] Having troubles connecting to Internet lobbies

Just purchased Demigod due to beta 3 that just came out, however i'm having problems entering any lobby.  It quickly pops the message that i've failed to join the game, and the list of players and IP are empty. When i create a lobby of my own, it doesn't appear in the lobby lists, makes it hard to play with a friend ;) I however can play fine with CPUs.  I would think it's my computer's problem, but my friend was over the night before and was playing a game online on his account.  Any one else with similar problem?

Update: Not sure if it had something to do with my friend downloading and installing the game on my computer that made it messed up, but i did uninstall the game and re-installed it, and seems to be working now.  Not sure if it was some sort of protection from priating the game or not, but that seems to have done the trick
